Dr. David McCloe is a board certified pediatric dentist. He grew up in Clarence then graduated from University at Buffalo with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2003. After working as an engineer for several years he decided to pursue dentistry, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2015 from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Throughout dental school Dr. McCloe volunteered at the Good Neighbors health clinic and went on mission trips to Tennessee and the Dominican Republic. Following dental school Dr. McCloe completed his 2 year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2017. He then returned to Buffalo where he practiced pediatric dentistry and instructed dental students and residents in pediatric dentistry at the University at Buffalo. Dr. McCloe maintains membership in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and several other dental organizations. He also has clinical privileges at Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Dr. McCloe’s philosophy is to treat each child like his own and he prides himself on delivering the most comfortable and healthiest treatment for every patient. Dr. McCloe resides in Amherst with his wife Deepali, daughter Laila, and two dogs, Simmons and Yogi. He loves all sports, especially football (Go Bills!), basketball and fishing. He enjoys all varieties of music and trying new foods and most of all loves spending time with his family.
