Helen M. Dusel, DDS, is a practicing board certified pediatric dentist with Winning Smiles Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Dusel is a native of Goshen, New York, and graduated from John S. Burke Catholic High School in 2002. She was awarded her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Providence College in 2006, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, cum laude, from University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2010. She was active in the Buffalo Outreach and Community Assistance (BOCA) program and traveled to Mexico on a dental mission trip in 2008. She was an active member of the American Student Dental Association during her four years of dental school, serving as President of the local chapter in her third year. She also contributed as a member of the Dental School Admissions Committee during her fourth year.

Dr. Dusel completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University at Buffalo in the spring of 2011. She then went on to complete her pediatric dental training at the University at Buffalo in the spring of 2013. She received her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry after a very rigorous clinical-based, two-year program, where she spent much time at Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. She is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the Eighth District Dental Society. Dr. Dusel earned her board certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2014. Dr. Dusel is a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church in East Aurora, New York, and is involved with her church community. She enjoys hobby farming, gardening, cooking, cross country skiing, hiking, and most importantly, spending time with her husband, who is an orthodontist in the area, her daughters Eva and Mila, and dog Blakeley.
